Maski sino siguro sumunod na presidente right after Marcos mahihirapan. Pero siguro kung nabuhay si Ninoy, mas mahirap siguro maloko ng mga nasa paligid nya.

We’re in a third world country, so life is always going to be hard, a least for the foreseeable future. If life would indeed have been better if Ninoy had lived and became president, we wouldn’t know it. We’ll just be complaining about other things, and activists will protest about other things, and people will be crying about other things. We would speculate that if someone else had become president, *that* life would have been better. The thing is, we’ll never know. But I really think that people will never really ever be content, no matter what situation they find themselves in.
