When I first saw these little robots… completely articulated… made from Bristol board, I freaked. Click on my friend Arlan’s Blog, click on the picture you find there to see a large photo of his bristol robot creations. That shadowbox display case by the way, is designed and created by Ilyn.

They’re about the same size as shown in the photo above. In Arlan’s blog you will see how small they are in comparison to Arlan himself. Arlan is a robot freak. If you browse his blog, you will see photos of houses he designs (like me, he’s an architect). But amidst all that you will see stuff like this, and a large kick ass drawing of Voltes V.

TIMAWA at KOMIKS.I.ph

I contributed a short article on how I create TIMAWA for komiks.i.ph. And Nestor Redondo is involved. That’s right. Click here for my article.

I’m currently laying out EL INDIO, and while doing so I saw this panel that simply screamed at me to be colored. And so I did. I went further and translated it. It would be awesome to do something like this for some of our classic Pinoy stories so that non-Filipinos can read and appreciate it. I wish I could do it, but it would simply take too much time and money.

    gerry,
in your article, the date of issue of the buzz magasin where timawa # 2 appeared should be november 2007… not 1997. :)
