Komikero Comics Audio Podcast #1

I’m just sitting here uploading a test widescreen video to fit You Tube’s new widescreen format when I thought I’d just go and try doing my first audio podcast. Strictly speaking, it’s my second, but the first one I did with Jonas Diego and Randy Valiente back in 2006 seems to have disappeared so there you go. I talk more about this Podcasting Thing in an earlier post here.

In many ways, this is just a test podcast which I did while sitting here with Ilyn talking like how we always talk. It’s mix of English and Tagalog with a whole bag of geekery thrown in. I don’t want to restrict myself to comics in these podcasts as I would like to go over pretty much all the interests I have from music to film and TV. I’ll most likely do rants about the most important and even the most boring of things. It can really be about anything that my brain farts out.

In this first podcast it’s just me and Ilyn. In future podcsasts I’ll definitely include my friends who come over to visit like Johnny, Arlan, Jonas and we’ll just talk about anything we feel like talking about. And with Johnny, it can be literally ANYTHING. There are still some audio issues in this one, which I hope to resolve in the next one.

    Excellent first show, man. Can’t believe you didn’t like Dark Knight though, but I’m curious to hear your views on it. We should totally have a podcast cross-over some time.

    Good job, Gerry! Though I am missing your YouTube Persona here; I need to imagine it pa (but that is not too hard, hehe).

    Will Ilyn be your regular co-host? She is a natural fit!

    Intro and ending music na lang, complete Audio Podcast na!

    Oh, and “Subukerr”, dapat may wikipedia entry na yun!

    Thanks John! I actually did like the Batman movie, but I just didn’t think it was as great as everyone was saying. But yeah, Heath Ledger was freaking good in it.

    Hey Randy! I’m sure bits of my You Tube self will seep through. Yeah, Ilyn has agreed to do these things on a regular basis. All we do is talk anyway when we’re at our desks working. We never seem to run out of things to say. Yep! I’m definitely thinking of adding some music, but maybe to fit what we will be talking about.

    Pareho tayo ng view, masyadong over-rated yung movie. Suddenly, all Gotham City residents became utterly stupid, and couldn’t stop one crazed criminal named the Joker ! sobra namang suspension of disbelief…but yeah, the late actor gave a very convincing and dark performance.

    ayos a ka gerry nakakatuwa ang podcasting naalala ko pa noong araw ang casette tapes ang parang sinaunang podcasting para mapakinggan ang boses ng isang taong nasa malayong lugar hehe talagang niyakap na ng computer at internet ang lahat ng bagay na kinagisnan ng tao. :)
