i second the suggestion of "wordballoon". its a really good show. the host is very intelligent and well read, and the atmosphere is very casual. what's more, his gueasts are high profile, famous creators. if you love bendis or jeph loeb, or gail simone, they do 3-4 hour interviews (bendis does his about twice a year).

i would also recommend...

11 o'clock comics
ifanboy
the crankcast
around comics

they are all quality podcasts. in 11 o'clock, one of the hosts (vince b.) is a BIG fan of the old filipino artists. its a smart round table discussion on current comics and the industry.
in crankcast, one of the guys is mike norton the artist on green arrow/blk canary and trinity. its the seinfeld of podcasts, basically a show about nothing, but its funny as heck.
ifanboy is a weekly comic review, while around comics is a review show and they discuss the latest industry news.

thanks for the pod cast tip. i'm unfamiliar with the ones you mentioned. i'll definitely check them out.

To tell you all the shameless truth, the Tres Komikeros are really just egotistical nerds who love hearing themselves talk so much that they figured other people would as well. BAM! And thus the show was born.

We eagerly await your (re)entry into the audio podcasting scene, sir! And thank you for continuing to put up with our shenanigans.

Thanks for listening to CGS! We'll be doing more Footnotes episodes down the road looking at Daredevil Born Again, Watchmen, New Teen Titans and more!

Podcasting is a great medium for expression - especially because nothing can beat the power of the voice. That's stuff you just can't recreate in an interview no matter how many times you CAP, bold or italicize. haha. So if you have the urge to podcast - do it!

Gerry!

Have you been listening to:
http://wordballoon.com/

John Suintres, the host, is a comic book geek and also a big movie buff. So, he and the comic book artists/writers would end up talking about their favorite (and not-so-favorite) movies and TV shows.

I guess people do audio podcasts because not everyone can be as telegenic as you on video :) Really, most of the time it's easier to try to sound good than to both sound AND look good. Also, it's easier to edit out bloopers on audio than in video. Personally, I just wish more Pinoys would make podcasts, whether audio or video.

Thanks for the link. You're bidjo podcast is awesome, by the way.
