Komikon Week

Tomorrow kicks off a week long comics event concluding with the comics convention on Saturday. I’ll be at the University of the Philippines for two days of talks. My first day is on Monday, November 17, where I’ll be talking about “Komiks in Education” from 1-4pm, and I’ll be back on Thursday, November 20, to talk about “Comics Writing for Artists” from 2:30 to 4:30pm. I won’t be talking by myself as I’ll be joined by several of my comics colleagues. More information on the poster below.

Of course, I’ll be at the UP Bahay ng Alumni all day on Saturday with Elmer #4! Unfortunately, Where Bold Stars Go To Die will not make it, but artist Arlan Esmeña will be on hand nevertheless with previews.
