Hi Gerry!!!
If pwede bili nalang din ako nang issue # 1 at 2.I’m really following your work.
Parang iba drawing mo dito, Gerry.
Hello Don!
You can order directly from me. Payment through the bank and then Air 21 or LBC ko to you. Pero let’s talk about it na lang after #4 comes out. :D
yay!! finally!! the finale!! sign my copies, pls! see you bahay ng alumni! God bless you!
Homaygas! ‘Yun lang ang masasabi ko.
Homaygas! :)
Gerry,
Excellent. You’ve mastered chickens. That “Victory Cry” tells it all. Keep on the good work.
Rod
Gerry,
Maybe you can negotiate with Buzz Magazine for Elmer to be serialized in that magazine…that is after the last issue of the small format publication. There’s the advantage of a larger format, plus a wider circulation… and you can even color it, although black and white looks so good.
Rod
WOW! Looks great Gerry! Like, Ed, I too saw the “X’s” for blacks to be filled in…
…must be an “inker” thing?
Congratulations!!!
ok gerry thank you!!!
sa glue with the same name. :)
‘Brutally Detailed’ talaga drawings mo Gerry.
By the way, may for sale ba na Elmer shirts doon sa Komikon?
May XL ba nyan or even XXL? :D
Ganda kasi e, I’m hoping to get one or two.
OMG! John Beatty can understand Tagalog now. We better be careful. Hehehehe!
Man, 64 pages is a lot! It’s a tripple size of a regular comic book.
Okay, I’m curious why use a photograph on the cover instead of drawing, why?
Jaime!
Somehow it felt right e. Parang it emphasizes the theme na this is happening in the real world. There is a much deeper, more personal meaning. I realized that after finishing the writing of Elmer, it’s actually a tribute to my own dad. It wasn’t intentional, but that’s how it turned out. That table on the cover is his actual table at home, except of course for Elmer’s diary and the chicken drawing (which is drawn by Edjee). All the other things on the table are what I found on my dad’s table as is.
Looking forward to getting this final issue. Galing!
Gerry, you think it’s okay if you show the calculator’s “Casio” label on your cover?
