Elmered

Sorry for the lack of updates. All I’ve been doing lately has been ELMER.

I won’t say I’m all Elmered out, because I’m not. As I get closer to finishing it, I’m getting kind of emotional. I’ll definitely miss these characters when I’m done, but I’ll be glad to have finished it. I like stories that have an end. But I will take a short break from Elmer shortly to do Timawa. I’ve been told that I’ll have the script for the comics I’m doing by mid November, so it’s all falling neatly into place.

    WTF? How long have you had the Travis Metabarons? I think I’m getting too out of sync with the comics world. I just received my copy today courtesy of my art agent.

    May nagsend sa akin nun from France. Full color na large size hardcover. Yung iba Incal. Sayang di ko maintinihan kasi French. Benta ko na lang. Ha! ha! biro lang. Astig ni Travis, pero mas trip ko si Ladronn sa Incal.

    I hope you’re not that out of sync not to know the compiled New Avengers #7 – The Trust, illustrated by Yu and Pagulayan is out in hardcover and paperback. Very nice work indeed. Hope you don’t mind this Gerry, hehehe, go back to sleep. Looks like you need it. We’ll exchange comments here while you’re in dreamland. Leinil, just wondering, how fast do you draw? You’ve got so much going on, I’ll bet you can draw superheroes with your eyes closed. And Gerry, I’ll bet when you close your eyes, you’re seeing chickens, tattoed superheroes, Jose Rizal, etc. Such are the agonies and pleasures of comics.

    Hey Rey! When Wasted was still available (it’s out of print na e), I was able to see copies of it for sale when I went to Bohol. I suppose at the time it was available in Cebu as well.
