Six Years

I’m just about to leave for today’s Komikero meeting, and I really can’t believe it’s already six years since that day in Jollibee when the beginnings of the group began. I think it really must have been Jac Ting Lim’s idea to meet with artists here in Laguna and it just went from there. Around the same time I met with a guy from Los Baños and Liliw, and very soon we were having regular monthly meetings at Sampalok Lake. I think at some point we were having two meetings a month. A lot of things have happened to us since then, and although some members have gone and new ones have joined, I really like the idea of having a group of artists just jam once in a while, and see what happens.

I can’t wait to see what happens today.
