Komikero 6th Anniversary!

Taken October 2003, the photo above is one of the very first photographs of the Komikero Artists Group, at this time still being called the Laguna Artists Group. At the time the group was already one year old. This month of August marks our 6th year anniversary! And of course, what would Komikero anniversaries be without a Komikero meeting?

It will be held THIS Sunday, August 31 at Sampalok Lake, here in San Pablo. I’ll be there as early as 10 am! I think it’s hysterical that on every anniversary meeting there’s only three or four people there, like it has been for the past three years! And yet there’s lots of other people in other, non-anniversary meetings. What? I think it’s hysterical!

Let’s buck the trend! Those who haven’t visited in a long time, please do! And those who are regulars, don’t start not coming now!

Don’t feel you have to be there at 10am. Drop by at anytime during the day and we’ll be there. New people welcome! Consult this map to help you find the place. Once down the stairs, turn left and keep walking. If you catch us during lunchtime, we’ll most likely be at Fat Larrie’s on the top of the stairs.

Bring your drawing gadgets, cameras, your sense of humor and new members bring your towels and extra underwear. You’re gonna need them!

    Demmet. Deadline ko sa Sept. 1! Dapat tapusin ko na lahat by Saturday para makapunta ako. Must work!

    He.he. KC, si Jac Ting Lim yan. Sa tingin ko nagmodel nga sya minsan. Madalas din syang nagcocosplay. Nagcocomics din paminsan minsan. Sa picture isa dyan ex nya. Matagal tagal na ngang wala rin akong balita sa kanya. Taga rito rin sa San Pablo yan, minsan nagbubungguan kami sa grocery.
