ELMER News!

Elmer has landed in Tom Spurgeon’s Top 50 Comics Publications for the calendar year 2006! I’m at number 50, which absolutely rocks because I’m delirious I’m even on this list. In a collection of comics and comics related work created by the likes of Lat, George Herriman, Osamu Tezuka, Charles Schulz, Jamie Hernandez, Lewis Trondheim, Eddie Campbell, Grant Morrison, and many others, I’m simply going out of my mind!

That said, yes, I’m hard at work on issue #3. My getaway this week to Maansil in Sta Catalina for several days should help me get a bunch of pages finished. I still can’t say right now when it will be finished, but I’m sure that as long as I keep working on it, it will get finished eventually. Come back to this page for further updates on the release of #3.

    Sir Gerry congrats!! Really bakit po kayo na surprise?? Ah talaga naman maganda ang craftmanship ng Elmer , storywise, artwise..ganda talaga ng phasing.. can’t wait na talaga sa Elmer #3 sana matapos bago mag october para makapagpadala ako sa mother in law ko na na pupunta dito
