Isn’t It Curious?

Just random writing. No real plan as to what I'm going to say. Just saw the puppies earlier sleeping/playing and I thought I'd take a series of photos. This is one of the funnier ones. I think everyone could use a bit of funny nowadays. What do you find funny? I think an unscripted Conan O'Brien is funny. One of the funniest shows I'm watching on TV is Psych. Their Spanish telenovela episode is the funniest TV I've seen in a long time.
I'm currently listening to The Who. I've been a fan since High School when I bought a copy of "Who's Next" and "The Kids are All Right Sountrack" and it really messed up my brain. Pete Townsend is a great talent, but I'm much more of a Roger Daltrey fan. I think he's one of the coolest people alive. His "Hugh Fitzcairn" character in The Highlander TV series was hilarious. The Who have a new-ish song called "Real Good Looking Boy" and they still have it. They're still awesome.
Long overdue Komikero meeting video from March 31, 2008. It’s dangerous to watch, specially towards the end. Don’t blame me if you vomit.
Oh yeah, Komikero meeting next Sunday, May 25, 2008. If you’re coming, just come. If not, then you’re not.
I saw a real cool “1000 Years of Manga” hardcover book from National yesterday. Real expensive. If I had the money with me then I would have bought it. Dangerous to bring lots of money to a bookstore. Specially for a book lover. You can’t help but buy stuff. Believe it or not, I’ve read most books I’ve bought. There’s still a couple of books I haven’t gone around to reading yet, like “Boone’s Lick” by one of favorite authors, Larry McMurtry, which I got real cheap at Booksale.
Speaking of Booksale, I got a lot of really great books there for real cheap like “This Fabulous Century: 1870-1900″ which has lots of photos and artwork during that period of American History, which is proving to be extremely useful in some comics stuff I’ve done.
We’ve already planned the house we’re gonna be building a couple of years from now, and it’s going to have a large library in it. Our little apartment is already bursting at the seams with books and comics as it is. We need LOTs of space for reading material.
I find it curious that in spite of us having so many stuff to read around the house, I still find difficulty selecting one to take with me for a crap.

Just read at Randy’s blog and he mentioned the book “1000 Years of Manga.” I think I’ll check it our at the nearest “Pambansang Bilihan ng Libro.”
Hehehe!
Sana may pera na ako before the meeting! :D
gerry,
ganito siguro kakukulit ang mga tuta mo pag gising:
