For a week or so now, representatives of PREDA Foundation having been inquiring after an illustrator who can work on a comic book they’re putting together. It seems that their need is urgent, and after private inquiries have turned up no illustrators available, I’m putting out an open call to anyone who might be interested to get in touch with either Fr. Shay Cullen (preda(at)info(dot)com(dot)ph) or Zosthenes Alicdan (zalicdan2(at)yahoo(dot)com).

Sayang. Kung hindi lang ako busy ay papatusin ko. Mukhang it’s for a worthwhile cause kasi. Do you have any more details on what they need, Gerry?

I’ve already e-mailed them. If it’s short story work I may be able to squeeze it in. :)

Thanks for the info, Gerry. And thanks, too, KC.

    Gerry,
Hmmmm, what is this about the moribund state of Philippine Komiks? Apparently, this is not true of the illustrators. One can’t even hire an illustrator, that even our friend from Florida John Beatty is perturbed about this? Thank goodness, at least someone will barely be able to squeeze it in, apparently, everybody’s busy, busy, busy.

Preda Foundation should be approached with caution!
I point out here that the property was stolen by Shay Cullen and so admitted in his book “Passion and Power” which, incidentally, is NOT FOR SALE in the Philippines!
More facts can be gleaned about Preda Foundation and the founder, Shay Cullen, from my web site http://www.preda-facts.info

I’ll answer questions to any who visit my web site and wish to contact me for more information.

Well, they never got back to me. If what Mr. Edmonds posted above is true, then that may be a good thing.

    Hi Guys,

Please visit this link below to know more about Alan Dale Edmonds who is trying to destroy the good work of Preda Foundation. In fact he is suspected of child abuse.

Below is a link for “Appeal for Support”, a Suggested letter to the Commissioner at the Bureau of Immigration.
