Komikero Meeting, March 2!
Filed Under Komikero Group | 4 Comments
The last Sunday of February was February 24, which was too early for the Komikero meeting. So it was moved to March 2, THIS Sunday! Sorry for the short notice, but I was kinda busy. There will be two meetings in March, the other one being on the last Sunday of March, March 30.
Same deal as always… Venue will be on the parks surrounding Sampalok Lake (check this map for details). Most likely we’ll be on the parks to the left once you get down the stairs.
Now if it’s RAINING, as it has been raining a lot the past few weeks… we will most likely be in the covered courts BEHIND the San Pablo City Municipal Hall, just next to Sampalok Lake. I was hoping to do some oil painting, but if it’s raining, I might have to forgo it for the next meeting.
This meeting will be extra special because we’ll have two new members…. Manix Abrera and Elbert Or!
Manix is of course, the uber famous cartoonist who creates Kiko Machine Komiks, as well as a member of the uber popular band Kiko Machine! Elbert is the creator of “The More The Manyer”, a mini book of hilarious Filipino quotes. He is also a teacher, book illustrator, and one hell of a cartoonist.
Bring your drawing stuff! Ok, bring your cameras as well if you like, because I’ll be bringing mine. Time is ripe for a Komikero bidjo scandal, I think. he.he.
We’ll be EARLY this time! I’ll be at the venue, whichever it is depending on the weather, starting at 10am!
KOMIKERO MEETING, March 2, Sunday
Sampalok Lake Parks (when it’s not raining)
Covered court behind Municipal Hall (when it’s raining)
10 am onwards.
Bring your drawing gear!
It might be a good idea to bring umbrellas and jackets as well!
If you drop by lunchtime, we’ll most likely be at “Fat Larrie’s” across the top of the big stairs.

Sunday is March 2, not March 3. It’s a leap year.
Thanks Dirk! :D
I’ll try to attend. :D I’ll bring…erm…watercolor. :P
