Apologies go to KC Cordero and the rest of The Buzz Magasin team that I was only able to turn in two pages of Timawa this month. There are various reasons not the least of which is my obsession to turn in really good work, causing me to spend more time on a page than I usually did. I really want Timawa to be some of the best looking things I’ve done and to compensate, I’ll just have to start earlier than the schedule I have set for it.

To those who are following the story, you will realize by now that the point of view will be from the character “Lolo Tanda”‘s perspective. This is intentional as I want the Timawa character to be perceived as how ordinary people would perceive him, specially someone who has actually met him. Later we will see the perspective change from character to character, including Timawa himself, but the overriding perspective will be Lolo Tanda’s.

Things will start to move rather quickly with part 7 with the reappearance of Timawa, the revelation of where Maritess is and what happened to her, and a bit of a surprise for people who had been following the story from the beginning.

Once again I want to let people know that if they wish to read it, don’t wait for a compilation of any sort as there hasn’t been talk about it at all. It’s possible that it won’t even be compiled at all. But that’s just me being fatalistic after seeing all the delays happening to the other compilations I’ve recently worked on.

    sir gerry,

I’m just wondering. What is the size of the paper that you draw on for Timawa? Nakabili kasi ako ng The Buzz last month.

    gerry,
in this particular page, gusto ko ‘yung jeep sa likod.

KC!

Tapos “paste into” the selection and then transform via scale and perspective para magkumporme sa anggulo at perspective ng panel. :D

Excellent page, especially like the coloring you added.
    Much success!

Didn’t find any TIMAWA in it.

Did I get a misprinted copy?
