February 22 at UP-Visayas, Miagao, Iloilo

I’ll be at the University of the Philippines-Visayas in Miagao, Iloilo in conjunction with an Comics-Animation event they’ll be having at the campus from February 21-22. I’ll be sending over copies of artworks for exhibition as well as give a general lecture about comics, depending on the kind of things that the students there would be interested in. My lecture will be on the morning of February 22, but I don’t have the exact time or venue yet.

I’ll be arriving in Iloilo on the afternoon of February 21, and leave again on the afternoon of February 22, so I’ll be there rather quickly. If you’re there and you’re a comics artist or just someone interested in comics, it would be great to meet you!

    Hello Louimir! Definitely! I’ll go if I’m invited. The thing is, and this is the same thing as the case for UP Visayas, I don’t really ask for compensation at all. I do ask that they take care of travel and accommodations as it would be something outside of my personal budget.
