Not really the end just yet, but almost! Two more installments to go and it’s all done. This is a series I began around March or April of 2005, now it’s two years later. Two years! Two months from now, when I’ve finally finished this, I’ll write an extensive article on the creation of this series.
I’ve also done a little thing for Graphic Classics, who will be coming out with a new edition of Graphic Classics: Bram Stoker, which contains my “The Judge’s House”. I was asked to do a new cover page for my story (because the original one I did sucked big time. ha! ha!) I’ll be posting that in a couple of days.
Ashamed at the kind of talent that’s going into Filipino Komiks #2, I’ve decided to redo the last page of “Bilanggo“, my 5 page short story. KC Cordero, Editor of the comic book, has recently revealed concrete plans about the continuation of the series at the Philippine Komiks Message Board. Issue #2 will be released in April, #4 will be released on the October Komikon, with #3 appearing somewhere in between, which will have only one story and one creative team, a “mini graphic novel”, as KC describes it. I hope I can further contribute for issue #4.
