Andy Serkis as Captain Haddock?

“Andy Serkis is reteaming with director Peter Jackson in DreamWorks’ “Tintin,” the movie trilogy collaboration from Jackson and Steven Spielberg.

Although DreamWorks would not confirm, it is believed Serkis will play the role of Capt. Haddock, a temperamental sea captain, in British scribe Steven Moffat’s adaptation of the European comic strip created by Herge.”

If Andy Serkis is indeed Captain Haddock, I can see it! I’ve long thought about who to play the old captain, who is actually my favorite character from Tintin. With Andy in the picture, I think he’d be perfect! I can hear his voice right now. “Whiskey! Maai….PPREEshyas!!

    Hahaha! I wonder if he’ll give Capt. Haddock a strong English accent just like that character in King Kong he did.

    I’ve read somewhere that they’ll be using mo-cap technology, much like what zemeckis did with beowulf and the polar express kaya faithful talaga ang mga hitsura ng mga characters. I think their also planning to make three movies, one movie each sila spielberg at jackson. di pa announced kung sino yung pangatlo.

    And Andy Serkis can play anyone… Okay din siguro syang Snowy… ehehehe
