Just got back from the Komikon. Well, it feels I just got back. All we could do after we got home from Manila last night was just collapse into bed and fell straight to sleep. I’m still recovering from what I can definitely say to be the best Komikon so far. In spite of the venue’s location, which might have hampered a few people from coming during the last couple of years, the place was packed. They even had to appropriate a section of the 2nd floor for the exhibit.

I met a lot of people, got great new comic books and found a couple of promising new creators. I’ll talk more about the event at length later when I’ve had a bit more rest. I’ll also be doing reviews of selected titles I managed to get throughout the next couple of weeks.

Elmer #3 made it on time! Copies of it should be available either today or in the next couple of days at Comic Odyssey. Copies will follow eventually at ComicQuest and Druid’s Keep.

In the meantime, here are photos from Azrael’s blog. Part TWO of Azrael’s photos here.

Photo above by Edwin Fornoles. Thanks Jaime!

By the way, the first issue of Elmer sold out! I no longer have copies with me. For those looking, you might want to check out Comic Quest and Druid’s Keep if they still have copies.

    Gerry,

Before anything else, thanks again for the signed copies of Elmer and Wasted.

And just to clear things up…my older brother, Kuya Edwin took the pictures. He’s the professional photographer. All I did was tag him along to snap some pics. :)
