Another hectic day yesterday with my Benilde class in the morning and then diving straight to a marathon 1pm to 7pm signing/sketching at Comic Odyssey in Robinson’s Place, Malate with John Beatty, Leinil Yu, Mico Suayan and Edgar Tadeo.

Sorry, can’t help myself.

I ended up staying the night at Leinil’s place with Ed and Mico because it had gotten really late for me to come home. I almost immediately regretted staying because Leinil proceeded to almost kill us us incessantly on the way back to his place (a story for a different time). He.he. It’s been a while since we had a slumber party. It was cool! I watched South Park for the first time. I can’t believe how funny it is.

It was great to hang out with the great John Beatty one more time. He’s amazingly friendly to everyone and it’s really clear he likes it here in the Philippines. I had him sign my New Mutants #50 which he had inked. I promise John! Even though they will probably laugh me out of You Tube, I’ll do that singing video for ya! Now what was that song again?

Thanks John for the stuff! Thanks also to Mike Zeck for the sketchbook and other stuff too! As always, thanks to Sandy and the other great people at Comic Odyssey!
