Free Comic Book Day, May 1, 2010

The first Saturday of May is “Free Comic Book Day”, and it means exactly what it means. Participating comic book stores all over the world will be offering customers FREE COMICS! Click on the link below for more info on what this event is all about:

Here in the Philippines, several stores will be participating in the event including branches of Comic Odyssey, Planet X, Druid’s Keep, etc.

The Robinson’s Galleria Branch of Comic Odyssey will be holding a double event as it will also be launching the first issue of Ultimate Avengers: Crime and Punishment, pencilled by Leinil Francis Yu and inked by me. Leinil, myself, and Edgar Tadeo will be on hand to sign copies. This Avengers title won’t be free though, but there are many other comic books that will be.

I’ll be there starting from 1pm.

    Free Comic Book Day is celebrated around the world during the 1st Saturday of May; this year, that’s May 1st!  Local shops are participating, so ask them what they have in store for their customers….
