This is the page from Lakan where the hive structure (scroll down or click here) was used. This was also drawn in 1992.

The lost Lakan comic book, which should have been one of the very first titles of the Philippine Independent Komiks Movement, would be seeing publication, with all three finished issues combined into one book. It would have to stand in line though, as other titles need to be released first. Once The Amazing Doctor Rizal and a Wasted reprint is finished, the next book out of Komikero Publishing would finally be Lakan, in time for it’s 20th anniversary!

Damn. At naulit mo pa yung building ha…

What if the sequence called for 4 consecutive vertical panels na zooming in towards the building, from a full view to a worm’s eye view at one of it’s base corner 2o meters away…. POV ng lumalanding na hero.

maaawa ako dun sa artist LOL

Caloy, madali lang yan; partial ng building silhouette na lang. Black lang. Haha.

Pero perspective pa lang nakakabaliw na eh.

Ilang araw mo ‘to ginawa, Gerry?
