Sketching at Renaissance Reminder!

I’ll be doing at least 10 sketches this Sunday at Renaissance, which would be first come first served at the venue. I think we will be limiting sketches to headshots only. To anyone who would be getting sketches, not only from me but from the other artists, please keep in mind that if you have a specific character you want drawn, please bring some reference! It may seem strange, but we most likely don’t have the designs of these characters memorized, even if we have worked on them before.

    I hope to get sketches fast since the estimated limit is at least 10 people only per artist (some might not even do sketches, some might not even go beyond 10, who knows?). Other than that I think I read somewhere that a person can only have 1 sketch per artist so I can’t go twice with a single artist. By the way Sir Gerry, are we only limited to headshots? Or can we request busts or full body sketches? (of course this would mean higher fee than the headshots but is it allowed?). Thanks!

    Jun, because of the large amount of artists participating, they’ve had to schedule us to only 3 hour shifts. In 3 hours, I think I can only do 10 sketches. It’s been agreed that we will do only headshots for 50 pesos each. To make more elaborate drawings would lessen the artists’ output lalo na since he has only limited time. Personally, I can’t do more than 10 sketches kasi I’ve already been working all week na ng walang pahinga. Those are pretty much the terms for this particular event. Siguro at other events like sa Free Comic Book Day you can request for other types of drawings.

    Ah, thank you very much for the information Sir Gerry! I also think you’ve been very busy lately and need some rest. I am very glad that you can make it tomorrow for the fans. See you in the convention Sir and I hope I can get some sketches. If not, I’m always willing to wait for future events.
