KOMIKSTRIP at UPLB is TODAY!

KOMIKSTRIP, the first UPLB (University of the Philippines, Los Baños) Comics Convention is today! I’ll be on hand first thing in the morning to give a lecture on the History of Philippine Comics for the workshop, and then pretty much for the entire day I’ll just be peddling chickens and bold stars.

The Komikero Artists Group has a new release!

This is our FIFTH anthology in a year! When Jonas and Johnny decided to have this comic book out 4 times a year they weren’t kidding. Good thing for me I found a venue in which I could release a lot of my older unpublished or at least underseen work. For this issue, I pulled out one of my Tales of the Big City stories:

    Hey Reno, it’s really not up to me, but if there are remaining copies, they usually end up at Sputnik.

    Juanito… yes, as soon as I’ve paid all my printing loans and have my Rizal book printed, my next project is getting a major WASTED reprint off the ground.

    Wow this reminds me of Pulp (from viz). I’d like to read one of these someday.
