“Komiks Artist” by Pepper Marcelo, Arlan Update

This is a short video interview with me conducted by Pepper Marcelo around 2005. This was initially intended to be a much bigger thing, with more artists and not just me in it, I was told. I don’t know exactly what happened, but Pepper decided to put this together so at least my part of it could be finally shown. I thought wow, I never thought I’d actually get to see it. Thanks Pepper!

Arlan is still at the hospital in Manila. He’s been there around 10 days now undergoing radiation treatment. He was put in ICU for a short while as he had trouble breathing, but he’s out of it now and back in his regular room. He has hair, a beard, but thinner than he was before. The radiation treatment seems to have some positive effect as his tumor markers have dropped dramatically.
