The 2nd San Pablo City Comics Festival

Oh yes, the San Pablo City Comics Festival, which had its first year in 2003, is getting its second year in 2009! It’s being organized by JonasDiego Inc., and Komikero Publishing. Well, it’s mostly Jonas with me simply advising really.

It’s going to be held at the Lion’s Club beside Sampalok Lake on December 6, 2009 from 10am to 6pm.

The last festival was virtually a non-profit thing. It was just us wanting to share our love of comics, as well as me sharing my love of San Pablo. It’s somewhat the same thing this time, but now we’re making sure that we at the very least cover the cost of putting it up.

Muchos Gracias to Mr. Simoun Ung, who agreed to co-present our Festival. And by co-presenting I mean putting up a huge chunk of cash to help us get on our merry way. Thanks Mr. Ung! That was truly very generous of you. He has a site here, as well as a Twitter account here.
