Sir Gerry, Are you going to personally deliver some copies of Bold Stars and Elmer at Sputnik? If yes, when? I want you to personally sign my copy of Elmer because I’ve only managed to buy a copy of Bold Stars during the Komikon… kasi naubusan ako ng “bala”… Well kung hindi naman, juts inform me when po madedeliver ang Elmer so I can buy my copy at Sputnik…
    Thanks, Sir Gerry…
    God bless…

Congratulations on the new book! I wasn’t able to go to Komikon to pick up Bold Stars, but I’ll keep an eye out for it at Cubao.

“Insane is appropos, but mostly it’s because the people involved are the craziest bunch of people (moi, included @_@ … which is a great honor being counted among). Kung lahat lang ng tao gaya natin the world would be a much better place… and far more interesting to live in. Sana lalong lumaki ang future komikons (to rival the ones in the States). And we don’t even need the presence of a certain “National artist”(bada-bump!) to make it legitimate and proof that ‘Buhay ang komiks sa Pilipinas’(bada-bada-bump!) ^_^

Pero di ko pa rin nabili lahat ng gusto ko waaaaa!! X_X”

    Dammit, Borgy!

And I thought this issue had gone away already.
I just got home from non-stop fund-raising and full of inspiration from it and was just too high (not from smoking pot) but from the very successful komikon there in RP, then suddenly, here you are – harping on the National Artist issue!

Just what the hell are you thinking, young man?

    I am sooooo pissed off!

Okay, I’m gonna say this for the last time, and you better read my lips:

    “CARLO CAPARAS CAN DRAW!
    And WILLIAM HUNG CAN SING!”

Get that? Huh, young man? You better! Or I’m gonna do an impersonation of William Hung so I can also claim that I can sing. Are you listening?

    “She bangs, she bangs…”

You mention this NA again and I’m going to buy for you all the comic books you want and I’ll lock you up in your room to read nothing but comics for 365 days! That will serve you right, you rascal!

    “She bangs, she bangs…”
