Komikon 2009 Poster + Benefit Auction

The 5th Annual KOMIKON culminates the Philippine International Cartoons, Comics, and Animation (PICCA) Festival on October 18.

An auction will be held at the Komikon to benefit Komikeros affected by floods caused by Typhoon Ondoy. Items on hand to be auctioned will be original comics artwork, a signed Leinil Francis Yu sktechbook, a signed rare hardcover slipcase edition of ELMER, and many more.

I wish there were more bidders to this. I know we’re on an economic crisis and original art sales are slow in general, but it’s for a good cause. If you could at least help spread the word, it would be much appreciated!

    I’m so excited I just can’t hide it.
    I know, I know, I want this event to happened. Shopping galore for comics/komiks. Parading autographs from top-notch and elite class of artist (pls don’t mention CJC)
    Sir Gerry, do you have already list for the auction and their starting price? What time is the auction?

    hey I’ll contribute a couple of original sketches for auction:) I don’t think sketchbooks will fetch anything substantial.
