TIMAWA, Amazing Dr. Rizal Updates

It looks like I’ll be doing new Timawa stories far sooner than I expected. I great opportunity fell on my lap to do Timawa the way I want to, and I really have to have a go at it. It’s going to be tight, work wise, but that’s allright. I had set aside a bit of time to work on stories for the 10 peso komiks, back when I was still involved directly in it, so Timawa would fit in exactly into that schedule.

Right now I can’t be forthcoming with more details (where, who, etc.), but I thought it great timing as I was talking about Timawa just a couple of days ago right here, and how I felt I finally had the right approach to do it. And by the way, Timawa will be in Tagalog.

As for “The Marvelous Adventures of the Amazing Dr. Rizal”, I’ve already finished the first installment, and working on the second. I’m just waiting when Fudge will schedule it for inclusion in the magazine. Hopefully it’s in the September issue, but I’ve no word as to when it will actually be. Honestly, I’m just aching to continue doing it. But I’ve waited to do it for so long, I think I can wait a little bit more.

    You know, that actually makes more sense. Kind of like “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” wouldn’t have worked if the characters had conversed in English. I’ve just one question, though: will you have any English language scripts tucked away in case the folks in English speaking countries perk up and take notice?

    Hello Jim! I won’t be lettering directly on the original pages so I can easily re-letter it into English if ever it becomes necessary to.
