Only In The Philippines

“Tales of The Big City” is a series of short stories I did for PULP MAGAZINE during its initial issues in 2000. On its third issue, I wrote the story of a bus driver, inspired by real events I read about in the newspapers.

I just read it again and I was taken aback by how bloody it was. Maybe that reflects the state of mind I had back then.

This story will be serialized as a webcomic beginning today, and will run in 4 parts, appearing next on Monday, then Wednesday, and finally, Friday. I would not suggest you read it at my blogspot site because the strip might be too wide for the page to handle. Rather, you can just read it here. As always, the new strips appear at 1pm Philippine time.

I may not be able to update much this coming week as I’ve seem to have incapacitated my right hand when I smashed somebody’s face in so I’m just typing with my left hand.

    I love your inking style and i wanted to ask you if you could post a picture of your inking tools?

    I watched some of your videos trying to get the name of your markers, but i failed.

    Im reading Wasted Online and i love the style.
