In any case, I have to correct that it can be a Libel case, since there is claim that the work was considered as “Illustrations by Carlo J. Caparas” and was published accordingly, by the Post Office no less.

You will see that the stamps were credited as “Komiks Illustrations by Carlo J. Caparas” when in fact they were drawn by Karl Comendador.

Did she just compare CJC to Jesus?

In any case, if it was proven that he took credit (even once, if recorded) for the illustrations, that could count for as basis for plagiarism. Of course they can contest that it’s just an opinion or whatever, but if it was published one way or another, it could be used for a legal case.

The idea of Carlo J. Caparas as a national artist is almost, but not quite, as horrible as his movies.

I’m a former citizen of the Philippines, now living in Canada, here, we have Order of Canada. One of the candidate is an abortionist and given the said award. Lots of people who received the said award returned their Order of Canada. KAPAL MUKS naman ni CJC kung hihintayin pa nya na ganito mangyari….
Lahat na ba dyan sa PINAS Palakasan na lang???

Sobrang nalungkot din po talaga ko nun nalaman ko na nanalo si Carlo J. Si Larry Alcala nga po hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa din ginagawang National Artist. Nakakapag taka lang dahil madami ang nag aakala na maka masa si Carlo J. Samantalang sa Ayala Alabang siya nakatira.
