Road to Metro Comic-Con

Formerly Manila Comic-Con, the Metro Comic-con is full steam ahead for August 8-9, 2009 at the Megatrade Hall in SM Megamall!

I’ll be there the whole day on August 9 to give a seminar on “Conceptualization” in comics in the morning, then have a comic book signing in the afternoon. Rest of the day will be spent loitering and ogling.

There would be an enormous amount of comic book creators present and their signing schedule is as follows:

One interesting thing that’s gonna be happening at the con is the launching of the Watchmen DVD!

Wooah! To be honest, I haven’t fully seen Watchmen yet. Loser, I know, but I’m looking forward to it.

    Rolly, yes, there will be ELMER. And from the list above, you will see schedules for all the artists to do signings. I’ll be signing from 2-5pm on August 9.

    I’ve send message to the email indicated on the poster (seminar@manilacomiccon.com) it seems to me it’s not working, I’ve tried capslock and lower cases and other variations. waaah

    I’ve been pretty lax in enforcing my “no anonymous posts” in this topic, freely posting those that used real email addresses, and website links. However, there are still those posts that are so grossly anonymous (wild names, and weird links and addresses), that inspite of me wanting to post them, I can’t. Sorry.

    Thanks for this very detailed info on MCC. I’m a huge fan of Leinil and it’s awesome to find out he will be at the con. He’s not mentioned in the publicities for MCC that I have seen.
