Hello Cathy! It is treading a very fine line. I’ve actually haven’t seen anything like this before. I’m not truly certain of the legality (or not) of something like this. But as someone pointed out to me, it misuses the trust of our alma mater to spam us. And that can’t be right.

Hmm, I don’t think it is illegal in the PH. But it is borderline illegal here in Germany. Your personal info (which you gave to the website) cannot be used for advertising purposes without your consent.

We went to the same University and I’ve seen this site and I have been invited by classmates who are members. But I have not joined as I didn’t feel comfortable. I guess I definitely will not join now.
