Ive recently came upon by your blog and as for your tribute article on Nick, well, ive been an admirer of his work in Image Comics Cybernary and also on fellow Whilce in Wetworks. He made great stuffs and even cooler still was when i learned years back that he was actually a filipino (i was really blown away) which was why his apelyido sounded familiar as it was the same as my distant and not too neighborly neighbor was (dumb me)..well if he were still with us today he would kick serious @$$

When i first opened the pages of the 1 issue of Deadblow and than saw the Cybernary story i was just struck by the heavy dark and yet so delicate nad rich art, i never stopped to wonder what if he was still here, he is a great inspiration and one of the greatest.

I wonder if Nick is still alive today, he must be a gigantic star in the comic biz now.

I still admire his work, and looking at those images, seems like mine will take hundreds of years to be as good as his. I’ll just dream on.

Nick is still the best.

hello, I’m glad you decided to blog again. I always read your site, I just always hesitate to comment. Being here in far-off Butuan, I’d just like to thank you again for your passion about our industry. Like other sites such as jonasdiego, gilbertmonsanto, edgartadeo, budgettetan….despite the distance, i still feel somehow connected to the industry.
