ELMER Hand Bound Collection Preview

Komikero Publishing, in cooperation with Paper Basket, will be releasing severely limited copies of an ELMER Collection Gift Set, which would include hand bound copies of #1-4, and many other extras including a piece of original artwork (not from the comics, but specially made for each set), a CD containing “Chicken Joy”, Edgar Tadeo’s documentary on Elmer, a facsimile of one of Elmer Gallo’s newspaper columns, Gallo family photographs, covers, etc., all of which comes neatly packaged in a hand made box.

This set will be severely limited because we only have a few copies of #1 left to bind. This is not a new printing. We have simply collected the print copies of #1-4 and bound it into one volume. Ilyn is doing all the hand binding herself, something that’s part of her paper crafting business. Check out what other things she can do here.

This set will be severely limited, depending on the actual number of #1 we still have. And since it’s a special gift set, the price will definitely be extra special as well. In any case, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in something like this?

Two copies are already reserved, so at least that’s two we’re sure to make.

MARCH 11 UPDATE!

Thanks to all those who reserved copies! I didn’t expect there would be so many. I want everyone to know that I appreciate and I dearly wish I could accommodate everybody. Those who emailed their interest were put on a list. But for now, I would have to say that beyond the orders I already have, I won’t be able to accept more, at least for the time being. If I manage to find more copies of #1, I’ll accept orders again. I’ll post any updates here.

    Hey Danry, it will only be available directly from us. I’ll post more details about it soon, specially after all the material is in and the box has been made.

    Hello guys! Thanks for the interest! Unfortunately, I’ve had to close reservations yesterday because we ran out of #1s to bind. But those who emailed or posted here but didn’t make it, I’ll put you all on a list and you will be the first to be contacted if we are able to make more compilations. Remember, if interested (including Elbert, Az, Dexter Wee, Raymond and Miko), please send me an email at gerryalanguilan at yahoo dot com, so I can collect messages with requests so I won’t forget. Thanks!

    I can guarantee that the first five who reserved I will be able to accommodate and I will be sending an email soon to let you know how much it will be, so you can confirm if you still want it. Unfortunately, I have to restrict one copy per one person at this point, because I honestly didn’t expect so many people would want it.

    I just posted the photo of the bound Elmer book as a preview, a work in progress. No sets are as yet complete as putting just one together by hand takes a lot of time. We won’t be completing the first of the sets until later this month. Rest assured that we have your email addresses and I will contact you when they’re ready. Thanks for the patience! :D
