I’m going to be involved in at least two rather large (by large, I mean HUGE) projects in two to three months. In the meantime, I’ll be doing commissions for anyone who would be interested. Above are examples of art commissions I’ve done recently. One is Ibong Adarna, and the other is Zuma. Zuma was drawn according to the original design of the character by Elmer Esquivias as it appeared in Rex Komiks #1. The design for Ibong Adarna is something I just came up on my own.

I’m pretty much open to anything, but with limitations. I will not be able to accept commissions to draw in the manga/anime style, Moebius style, Jim Lee style, or any style that would require me to draw in a manner that’s not my own.

Therefore I would not be able to accept commissions for cover recreations, or for characters like Voltes V unless I can draw them in my own style. Which would be weird, I know. But different!

I would also be unable to accept commissions of the sexually adult nature, specially of established characters in sexual situations, or any other situation that violates their character.

What about sexy poses of superhero women? I mean just “sexy”, not nude or something.

Post mo rin sana yung mga ginawa mo for Comic Odyssey sa backing board. I like the Batman you did. :D

I’ll do sexy poses of Superhero women if sexiness is part of their character. I can draw Emma Frost and Zsa Zsa that way, but maybe not Lois Lane, or Darna.

    Gorgeous!

Your composition and inking are just beautiful. I still have a lot to learn about inking! It’s great: as my senior project for undergrad, I’m doing a study of the process of making a comic book. The whole affair is new to me, and it’s proving very challenging but very fascinating. You continue to serve as inspiration!

Sexy pose for the win! Hehe.

Yep, Gerry is among the best when it comes to inking. There’s just too much love in his works. The list of my current favorite comic professionals actually only has 1 international artist who is Michael Turner. The rest are all Filipino.

Artist: Mico Suayan / Harvey Tolibao / Michael Turner
Inkers: Gerry Alanguilan / Edgar Tadeo
Colorists: Jay David Ramos / Gerry / Ed

    Jun,
Wait a minute, all the artists you mentioned are all international artists (if by international you mean working for comics in the U.S.A), not just Michael Turner. See my blog if you don’t believe me.

Ah sorry, yep they’re international artists because they work for comics produced and made overseas. (Haha, my bad there, I jumbled international with nationality) What I meant to say was Michael Turner was the only one whose nationality isn’t Filipino. The rest are all proud Filipinos. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the correction.
