I really admire this project Gerry.
How did this came about?
I would love to do something like this in the future.

I like the simplicity of this piece.
It even reminds me of that Oscar Wilde classic fantasy story, THE HAPPY PRINCE. It looks very classic, I mean.

The simple line work must be the reason why the finished work comes out popping right out of the page. It definitely is a case of less is more. And the color combination is truly stellar, reminiscent of a gifted architecth's wonderful color schemes. Defintely 100/100%

Despite your busy sked of making BIDJOS (saan ba galing itong word na ito? Akala ko noong una, mispelling ng BANJOS! He-he), writing and drawing comic books, running here and there lecturing and restoring Coching's work - I'm awondering how you still find the time to sleep or relax. I'd say you're nuts, Alanguilan! LOL!

A word of advice from your lolo JM:
Don't overwork yourself. Make sure to find some time to have a regular exercise and enough rest. We've seen a lot of tragic end to many komikeros in the past and we certainly don't want to repeat that trend again. Especially not you.

Maybe you should make a video (I mean, bidjo)showcasing your daily exercise routine. Nagbi-bidjo ka na, nakaka-exercise ka pa. O, laban sila diyan?

yep, I also wish we'd have something like a "Hero Initiative" organization here in the Philippines who'd really help out comic book professionals specially in times of need or when they're already on retirement.
